Walks around Mallaig, Morar and Arisaig-   

The walks highlighted in this booklet range from 1-15kms and
require varying levels of fitness.

It should be noted that the maps illustrating the routes are indicative only and all times are estimates and will vary according to conditions.

 

Paths Around Strontian
These trails pass through a mixture of woodland, riverside and open hills and include Phemie's walk and Strontian Community Woodland.

Other projects include various signage and paths at Acharacle, Ardgour, Camnusagaul, Fort William, Kilchoan, Spean Bridge and Strontian.

Paths around Onich and Inchree
These woodlands offer three very rewarding walks with a chance to get close to nature while enjoying some spectacular scenery. The walks range from 2.5kms (The Waterfall Walk) to 6kms (An Drochaid Circuit Walk). Look out for the Dry River Gorge, an amazing 400m long and 20m wide landmark.

Walks in Glen Nevis
This Glen, sculptured by glaciers, has many interesting features of historical and geological importance to explore as well as a varied plant and animal community. The walks highlighted in this leaflet vary from 2-12kms and require varying levels of fitness. Please be prepared and consult the relevant Ordnance Survey maps before you set off.
