Doors Open Days 2011 in Highland is taking place in the following dates throughout September. There are a number of new participants this year. Admission to all participating buildings is free on the day.

Doors Open Days is Scotland's contribution to European Heritage Days and is a joint initiative between the Council of Europe and the European Union. Within Highland, Doors Open Days is co-ordinated by the Highland Council and the Inverness City Heritage Trust.
