Scotland is divided into registration districts which mirror the Local Authority boundaries.The Registration District of Highland is administered from the main office in the Highland Archive and Registration Centre, Bught Road, Inverness and throughout our large geographical area the service is provided from 6 dedicated registration offices, from some service point offices, with the remainder being home based in the more rural locations. Registration staff provide a professional, efficient and sympathetic service, resulting in the accurate recording and preservation of all events of birth, death, marriage and civil partnership.
