Accommodation is available for up to 20 people, and possibly up to 100. Please contact the registrar to discuss these options.
Photographs and Video recordings are permitted at the discretion of the Registrar and you are advised to discuss these arrangements beforehand.
Background music is provided, or you may provide music of your own choice, in consultation with the Registrar.
Other Approved Venues in and around Fort William
You may wish to have your ceremony in a hotel or other venue of your choice, provided it has been approved by the local authority for that purpose. Further information regarding approved premises is available from the Registrar and a full st of Approved Venues in Highland can be found in the 'Related Information' section opposite.
When you have booked with your chosen venue, they will contact the registration office to arrange for the attendance of a registrar.
Please note that you must also contact the registration office regarding the legal preliminaries to marriage or civil partnership registration.
If your preferred venue has not been approved for civil ceremonies you should contact the Registrar for further advice.
Prior to the ceremony the parties are required to verify all details to be recorded on the schedule which will be signed during the ceremony, and to discuss the form of ceremony used. A separate appointment is required for this, at a time to be mutually agreed.
The Registrar will be happy to discuss any aspects relating to your civil ceremony.
