Lochalsh and Skye Housing Association will start work soon on the construction of 8 special needs rented houses for the elderly and a new day care centre, which the housing association will build on behalf of the Highland Council to replace the existing facilities at Graham House. Phase 2 of this scheme will provide 8 houses for low cost home ownership through the LIFT shared equity initiative and 19 homes for affordable rent. Development of the new housing has been enabled through funding from the Scottish Government and Highland Council.
