An adjoining site to the HSCHT scheme at Elizabeth Crescent has been transferred by Highland Council to Albyn Housing Society and development is nearly complete. This scheme will provide 10 houses for affordable rent with the houses being highly insulated, incorporating solar collectors for hot water. A further 2 houses for low cost home ownership through the LIFT shared equity scheme will be built by Albyn on this site and these should be completed by March 2009.
