Housing strategies and initiatives

Housing Services develops and helps to put into practice a number of strategies and action plans. These are relevant to people living in privately owned, privately rented, housing association and Council housing.  

Highland Housing Strategy

Highland's Housing Strategy 2010 - 2015 shows how the Highland Council and its partners will tackle the housing issues which people in Highland face.  It sets out the housing issues, the positive imporvements that we want to see and what we will ddo tohelp make these changes happen.

The Highland Housing Strategy summary gives an overview of the issues and actions.

This Strategy was informed by an assessment of housing need and demand in the different areas of Highland.

The proposals were developed in consultation with people across Highland – this Housing Strategy Survey Report includes a summary of their views.
