New Pay on Exit system introduced at Rose Street Car Park, Inverness

A new “pay on exit” scheme, similar to that used at the Eastgate Centre, Inverness, will be introduced at the Rose Street Car Park, Inverness, from Tuesday (3 August).

The system, which replaces the existing pay and display system and allows for more flexibility in the charging regime, is the latest investment made by The Highland Council to modernise and upgrade the Old Town multi-storey car park.

Users will pay for the time they are parked in the car park and there will be no fines for overstaying their time as vehicles cannot exit the car park without paying.

From Tuesday 3 August, charges are as follows:

Contract parking charges will be increased to £375 per annum.
