Red squirrel walk in Glen Nevis

The Highland Council’s Countryside Ranger is inviting children and adults a chance to join her on a Red Squirrel Scavenge in Glen Nevis near Fort William.

On Sunday 3rd June from 1pm to 3pm, Countryside Ranger, Fiona MacLean with the Council’s Planning and Development Service will lead a guided walk with activities tailored for children.

Fiona said: “Red squirrels are a nationally endangered species. The Scottish Highlands is the last real stronghold of the red squirrel in the UK. Join me on a fact-finding mission about our native red squirrel and hopefully even get a chance to see some.”
