Male arrested following incident at Inverness school involving unknown substances

Police have arrested a male following an incident at Charleston Academy, Inverness yesterday afternoon whereby two young people were taken to Raigmore Hospital as a precautionary measure after consuming an unknown substance.
 
The two teenagers were later released from hospital after a period of observation.
 
A 16 year-old male has been arrested in connection with this incident and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
 
Police would like to reiterate the dangers of taking unknown substances, including novel psychoactive substances (commonly referred to as legal highs), and the legal implications of possessing such items.
