3. Application for a House in a Multiple Occupation Licence – Royal Hotel, Dingwall, Ross-shire
There is circulated Report LCR/01/08 by the Area Solicitor advising of the receipt of an application for a House in Multiple Occupation Licence for the Royal Hotel Dingwall and an Enforcement Notice issued by the Fire & Rescue Services relevant to this use of the premises. Copies of the Enforcement Notice and the Schedule are appended to this report.
It is recommended that the Committee agree to defer determination of the application, either (a) to allow it to be approved under delegated powers in the event that the requirements identified and the Council’s standards are met or (b) to a future meeting of the Committee when the application will be determined in terms of the Hearings Procedure.
4. Applications for Houses in Multiple Occupation Licences – Michael Maggs
There is circulated Report LCR/02/08 by the Area Solicitor advising of the receipt of two applications for Houses in Multiple Occupation Licences submitted by Michael Maggs for premises at 24 Rowan Drive Culbokie and Beaufort, High Street, Culbokie.
It is recommended that the Committee agree to defer determination of the applications, either (a) to allow them to be approved under delegated powers in the event that all necessary requirements are met or (b) to a future meeting of the Committee when the application(s) will be determined in terms of the Hearings Procedure.
