1. Apologies for Absence
Apologies for absence were intimated on behalf of Mrs Deirdre Mackay, Ms Maxine Smith and Mrs Katrina MacNab.
2. Confirmation Of Minutes
The Minutes of the Meeting of the Licensing Board held on 2nd October and Adjourned Meeting held on 6th November, 2007, copies of which had been circulated, were held as read and were unanimously approved.
3. Scheme of Delegation
There had been circulated report (CSER/LIC/3/08) dated 15th January, 2008, by the Clerk on the scheme of delegation for transitional matters and other applications under the current and new legislation.
The Board approved the scheme of delegation.
4. Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 – Application Fees
There had been circulated report (CSER/LIC/1/08) dated 15th January, 2008, by the Clerk on fees to be imposed by The Highland Licensing Boards.
The Board expressed some reservation but thereafter approved the table of fees in the Appendix to the report.
5. Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 – Registered Clubs
There had been circulated report (CSER/LIC/2/08) dated 15th January, 2008, by the Clerk inviting the Board to approve a closing date for lodging conversion applications for registered clubs.
The Board approved 1st March, 2009, as the appropriate date for registered clubs.
6. Gender Equality Scheme
There had been circulated report (CSER/LIC/4/08) dated 15th January, 2008, by the Clerk asking Members to consider the Gender Equality Scheme.
The Board approved the Scheme as shown in the Appendix to the report.
