2. Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Hearing – Application for Renewal of Taxi Driver’s Licence
The Committee is invited to consider an application for the renewal of a Taxi Driver’s Licence lodged by Mr. Ian Mackay (from Landward Caithness Ward) in light of a letter of observation received from the Northern Constabulary.
The relevant papers will be circulated to the Committee on the day of the meeting. A copy of the Council’s Hearings Procedure is appended hereto. The Area Solicitor advises that as the Committee is acting in a quasi-judicial capacity when determining the application, it is inappropriate to make any recommendation.
3. Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Hearing – Application for Late Hours Catering Licence
The Committee is invited to consider an application for a Late Hours Catering Licence lodged by Mr. Dao Li Zhao, in respect of Dragon House Chinese Restaurant, 134 High Street, Wick, in light of a letter of objection received.
The relevant papers will be circulated to the Committee on the day of the meeting. The Area Solicitor advises that as the Committee is acting in a quasi-judicial capacity when determining the application, it is inappropriate to make any recommendation.
