3. Suspension Hearing - Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 - Taxi Driver’s Licence
The Committee is invited to consider whether Mr. William More (from Wick Caithness Ward), a taxi driver currently licensed, continues to be a fit and proper person to hold such a licence.
The relevant papers will be circulated to the Committee on the day of the meeting. A copy of the Council’s Hearings Procedure is appended hereto. The Area Solicitor advises that as the Committee is acting in a quasi-judicial capacity when determining this matter, it is inappropriate to make any recommendation.
4. Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Application for Taxi Driver’s Licence
The Committee is invited to consider an application for a taxi driver’s licence lodged by Mr. Michael Heddle (from Thurso Caithness Ward).
The relevant papers will be circulated to the Committee on the day of the meeting. The Area Solicitor advises that as the Committee is acting in a quasi-judicial capacity when determining this matter, it is inappropriate to make any recommendation.
5. Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Application for Taxi Driver’s Licence

6. Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Application for Public Entertainment Licence
The Committee is invited to consider an application for a public entertainment licence by Mrs. Carol Smith (from Wick Caithness Ward) in respect of Body Beautiful, 2 Dempster Street, Wick.
