3.  Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Application for Street Trader’s Licence – Michael Barker


The Committee is invited to further consider an application for a street trader’s licence lodged by Mr. Michael Barker (from East Sutherland and Edderton Ward).


The relevant papers will be circulated to the Committee on the day of the meeting.  The Area Solicitor advises that as the Committee is acting in a quasi-judicial capacity when determining this matter, it is inappropriate to make any recommendation


4.  Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Application for Taxi Driver’s Licence – Francis W. Robertson


The Committee is invited to further consider an application for a taxi driver’s licence lodged by Mr. Francis W. Robertson (from Wick Caithness Ward).

The Committee is invited to resolve that, under Section 50A(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, the public be excluded from the meeting during discussion of the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 3 and 6 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.


10.  Suspension Hearing – Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Taxi Driver’s Licence – Scott Lyall


The Committee is invited to consider whether Mr. Scott Lyall (from Thurso Caithness Ward) continues to be a fit and proper person to hold a taxi driver’s licence.


The relevant papers will be circulated to the Committee on the day of the meeting.  The Area Solicitor advises that as the Committee is acting in a quasi-judicial capacity when determining this matter, it is inappropriate to make any recommendation.


11.  Suspension Hearing – Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Taxi Driver’s Licence – Isaac McPhee


The Committee is invited to consider whether Mr. Isaac McPhee (from Landward Caithness Ward) continues to be a fit and proper person to hold a taxi driver’s licence.
