2. Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Application for Taxi Driver’s Licence – Alistair Aitken

There is circulated report (LCC/20/08) dated 22nd September, 2008, by the Area Solicitor, inviting Members to consider an application for a taxi driver’s licence lodged by Mr. Alistair Aitken, Kirkwall, which was deferred from the meeting on 26th August.

The Committee is invited to consider this application and whether the applicant is a fit and proper person to hold a taxi driver’s licence. 

 
3. Exclusion of the Public

The Committee is invited to resolve that, under Section 50A(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, the public be excluded from the meeting during discussion of the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 3 and 6 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Act.

4. Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 – Application for Taxi Driver’s Licence – Diana MacDonald

There is circulated report (LCC/21/08) dated 22nd September, 2008, by the Area Solicitor, inviting Members to consider an application for a taxi driver’s licence lodged by Miss Diana MacDonald (from Wick Caithness ward).

The Committee is invited to give consideration to this application and to whether the applicant is a fit and proper person to hold a taxi driver’s licence.
