Sub-Committees

Sub-Committees are nominated by a parent Committee, such as Housing and Social Work Committee and are nominated to consider specific business.

The Care Home Sub-Committee was formed in November 2005 to monitor the process of seeking bids from the independent sector to provide 160 bed spaces in Inverness, Lochaber, Mid Ross, East Ross and Badenoch & Strathspey.

Its membership comprises the Convener (Chairman), Vice Convener, Chairman and Vice Chairman of Resources Committee, Housing and Social Work Office Bearers and relevant local members.
