3. Highland Licensing Committee Dates for 2012 

 

Following The Highland Council meeting on the 31 May 2012, it has been agreed that Highland Licensing Committee hold meetings in a six weekly cycle.  The undernoted dates are suggested:

4. Confirmation of Minutes

 

There is submitted for confirmation as a correct record the minute of the meeting of the Highland Licensing Committee held on 3 April 2012.

 

5.  Licences Granted under Delegated Powers 

 

 

There is circulated Report No HLC-043-12 (39kb pdf) by the Legal Manager which details all Licences which have been granted under delegated powers under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, and Marriage (Approval of Places) (Scotland) Regulations 2002 granted in the period from 21 March 2012 to 29 May 2012.

 

The Committee is invited to note the report.

There is circulated Report No HLC-044-12 (17kb pdf) by the Legal Manager relating to applications which are currently pending for the grant or renewal of licences under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982.

 

The Committee is invited to approve the recommendation.

9. Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982
Commencement hours for Street Trader Licences 

 

There is circulated Report No HLC-049-12 (19kb pdf) by the Legal  Manager relating to a change in the commencement hour for Street Trader  Licences.

 

The Committee is invited to consider whether or not to ask the Civic Government Working Group to recommend to the TECS Committee that the commencement hour for Street Traders’ Licences be 6.00 am.
