A meeting of the Highland Licensing Board – Ross, Skye and Lochaber Division will be held in the Council Chambers, Lochaber House, High Street, Fort William, on Tuesday 19 June 2007 at 11.00 am.

2.           Dates/Venues for future Meetings of the Licensing Board

 

The following dates for this Board were agreed at a joint meeting of the Highland Licensing Boards on 5^th June 2007:- 16 ^th October 2007 and 22^nd January 2008.

It is recommended that the venues for these meetings be Dingwall and Portree respectively.

 

3.           Delegated Powers

 

The following delegated powers to the Depute Clerk were agreed at a joint meeting of the Highland Licensing Boards on 5^th June 2007:

 

3.1	Occasional Permissions within policy hours
3.2	Occasional Licences within policy hours
3.3	Occasional Extensions within policy hours
3.4	Section 35 Applications
3.5	Declarations of Finality
3.6	Affirmation of Licence
3.7	Temporary Transfers under Section 25
	Any contentious applications under S.3.1 to 3.7 shall be referred to the Chairman failing which two Members for determination.
3.8	Renewals except where a competent objection has been lodged
3.9	Applications under Sections 57, 58 and 59
3.10	Applications under Section 31(4) and 32(1) these applications shall be referred to the Chairman for determination.

 

 

4.           Policy on Extension of Permitted Hours

 

There is circulated Report No. LBR-01-07 by the Depute Clerk recommending that the Board adopts the policies of the previous Divisional Boards which covered the Ross, Skye and Lochaber Area.

 

5.           Applications under the Gaming Act 1968 (Section 34)

 

There is circulated Report No. LBR-02-07 by the Depute Clerk listing applications for Section 34 Permits submitted to the Board under the above Act for a decision.

 

6.           Applications under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 1976, as amended

 

There is circulated Report No. LBR-03-07 by the Depute Clerk listing applications submitted to the Board under the above Act for a decision.
