A meeting of the South Planning Applications Committee will take place in the Council Chamber, Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness on Tuesday 17 January 2012 at 9.00 am as follows:
9.00 am Committee meeting convenes in the Council Chamber, Council Headquarters, Inverness to appoint a Chairman and a Vice-Chairman (please note, it will not be possible to broadcast this part of the meeting over the internet)
9.15 am Coach departs the Council Headquarters, Inverness to transport Members to Cairngorm Mountain Railway for a site visit for application 11/00853/S36 (Allt Duine wind farm proposal)
2.30 pm or on completion of site visit, whichever is the later Committee meeting reconvenes in the Council Chamber, Council Headquarters, Inverness to determine the applications.
You are invited to attend and a note of the business to be considered is attached.
Members are reminded that during determination of any item before this Committee they must be present throughout the whole of that item in order to be entitled to participate.
Webcast Notice: Following the site visit, the remainder of this meeting will be filmed and broadcast over the Internet on the Highland Council website and will be archived and available for viewing for 12 months thereafter.

7. Decisions of Appeals to the Scottish Government Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals and Notification of call-in by Scottish Ministers
Enforcement Notice Appeal reference ENA.270.2002 (60kb pdf)
Failure to comply with a condition of planning permission (Condition 4 of planning permission 10/03770/FUL for the erection of a house and garage) insofar as the height of a garage is in excess of that shown on the approved drawing, Land 75 metres south-west of Fasgadh, Morar PH40 4PA
The Committee is asked to NOTE that the above enforcement notice appeal has been dismissed.
Following the appeal decision, the enforcement notice took effect on the 19 December 2011 and the time for compliance with the notice is 56 days after this date. In summary, the height of the garage requires to be reduced to that as shown and in accordance with the approved drawing 08/095/3004 by the 9 February 2012.
Planning Permission Appeal reference PPA-270-2066
Installation of 3 wind turbines (amendment to 10/02005/FUL), Land 380m North East of 2 Bunacaimbe, Arisaig
On the 1 November 2011, following a site visit, the Ross, Skye and Lochaber Planning Applications Committee refused planning application reference 11/02287/FUL for the installation of 3 wind turbines at Bunacaimbe, Arisaig. The decision was contrary to officer recommendation.
The Committee is asked to NOTE an appeal against this refusal of planning permission was received by the Scottish Government Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals on the 19 December 2011.
