2. Burial Ground Extensions
There had been circulated Report No. HC-35-09 dated 13 October 2009 by the Head of Legal and Democratic Services which invited the Council to resolve to provide extensions to the following existing Burial Grounds:-
- Orchard Wood Burial Ground, Isle of Raasay
- Skeabost Burial Ground, Isle of Skye
- Portree Burial Ground, Isle of Skye
- Badenscallie Burial Ground, Achiltibuie
The Council AGREED to provide the Burial Ground extensions as listed in Paragraph 2.1 of the report and under Section 9 of the Burial Grounds (Scotland) Act 1855, as amended.
