Change in Circumstances

When we issue you a bill Council Tax law assumes your household circumstances will stay the same until the end of the Council Tax financial year on 31 March.

Please let us know immediately if your circumstances change. It may affect the amount you have to pay. if you -

• Move house,
• Sell a house,
• Buy a house,
• Are no longer entitled to claim discount, disabled band reduction, benefit, or exemption, or
• If you wish to make a claim for benefit, discount disabled band reduction, or an exemption.
