Responsibility for organising the elections in the Highlands is that of the Returning Officer, Alistair Dodds, Chief Executive of The Highland Council. He is actively preparing for the elections within the three Highland constituencies. Supported by the Council's Elections Manager, John Bruce, he carries out the planning, management and administration of all election processes, ensuring that they are operated to sound, accountable procedures.
