Budget Strategy, Policy & Taxation

A team located within the Finance Service headquarters provides financial guidance and support to the Council in the development of corporate budget strategies and financial policies.  This includes forward financial planning for Revenue and Capital spending, and the co-ordination of budget preparation.

The team also provides advice on VAT and general taxation matters, completes the necessary taxation returns, and ensures that the relevant statutory duties are fulfilled.
