State Pension Changes
State Pension age is the earliest age at which you can claim your State pension. It is currently 65 for men and 60 for women. However the State Pension age is changing and will increase between 2010 and 2046.

New Scheme - April 2009
A new Scheme was introduced in Scotland from 1 April 2009. For details of the new Scheme:

Partners Form
The new Scheme allows all members to elect partners for benefits on the death of a member, please complete Co-habit Partner Form, new Scheme (pdf 51kb) if this applies to you.
Tiered Contribution Rate
Please find attached the Tiered contributions guidance v2 from sppa (pdf 144kb) (Scottish Public Pension Agency) regarding the new tiered contribution rates. These apply to the New Scheme with effect 1 April 2009.
Additional Regular Contributions (ARCs)
