Road Closures During Race For Life Event (02/05/06)

The Highland Council wishes to warn drivers in Inverness than during this weekends Race For Life event, to be held on Sunday 7 May, temporary road closures will be in place along the route.

The following roads will be closed on Sunday to all vehicles from 1.30 to 3.30pm:

• Bught Road and Ness Walk Upper at its junction with Bught Drive to its junction with Bishop’s Road;
• Bishop’s Road at its junction with Ness Walk Upper to its junction with Ardross Terrace;
• Ardross Terrace between its con-junction with Ness Walk and its con-junction with Ardross Street;
• Ness Walk at its junction with Young Street to its con-junction with Ardross Terrace;
• Castle Road (closed to northbound traffic only) between its junction with Haugh Road and its junction with Bridge Street.
• Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens Road closed to through traffic between its junction with Castle Road and Island Bank Road.

During the event alternative routes for drivers will be available and emergency and local access will be controlled by the Police and Stewards.
