New Director of Housing and Property (12/04/07)

The Highland Council has appointed a Director of a new service - Housing and Property - which is a merger of Housing Services and Property and Architectural Services.

He is Paul Langford, Chief Housing Officer of Leeds City Council.

Mr Langford, who hails from Dudley in the West Midlands, has worked for Leeds City Council for the past nine years, the last four as Chief Housing Officer.

He will take up his post in the summer.

The post of Director of Housing and Property replaces the posts of Director of Housing and the Director of Property and Architectural Services.
