Postal voting in Highland (20/04/07)

10.2% of voters in the Highlands have applied to vote by post at the forthcoming Scottish Parliament and Highland Council elections on 3 May.

A total of 17,689 people are seeking to vote by post. The total electorate is 172,635.

6,312 postal votes were recorded at the 2003 elections.
