School closures due to high winds (08/11/07)

Four secondary schools and nine primary schools in Caithness and Sutherland were forced to close today (Thursday) because of high winds.

They are:

Caithness:   Bower Primary; Canisbay Primary; Crossroads Primary; and Thurso High. 

Sutherland: Dornoch Academy and Dornoch Primary (from noon); Farr High School and Primary; Helmsdale Primary; Kinbrace Primary, Kinlochbervie High; Melvich Primary and Tongue Primary.
