Stagecoach Chief to Attend Dornoch Public Meeting (03/12/08)

Scott Pearson, Stagecoach Divisional Traffic Manager and their Commercial Manager, William Mainus, will be attending the next East Sutherland and Edderton Ward Forum to listen to views on recent and proposed changes to Stagecoach bus services in the area. The Ward Forum will also feature a presentation on the Highland Council Transport Strategy by Cameron Kemp, the Council’s Integrated Transport Manager, and an update on progress with the Sutherland Local Plan by David Cowie. As always, there will be opportunities for members of the public to question the guest speakers.

Councillor Jim McGillivray, who will be chairing the Forum, said: “We have had a great deal of comment from local people regarding the recent changes to the bus services along the east coast. Here is an opportunity for people to talk directly to the company running these services and let their views be known. I hope we get a good turn out.”

The East Sutherland and Edderton Ward Forum will take place on Monday 15 December at 7.30pm in Dornoch Social Club, School Brae, Dornoch. All are welcome to attend and tea and coffee will be available from 7pm onwards.
