Portree complex back in operation (06/01/11)

The holiday programme at the Fingal Centre Leisure Facilities and Library at Portree High School has now returned to normal following some disruption over the festive period.

There has, however, been some damage to the small gym hall and groups with lets in this area will be contacted to arrange alternative arrangements until repairs are carried out.

The Highland Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by this situation and would like to assure customers that everything possible is being done to resolve the situation quickly.

An extensive programme of group exercise classes has already kicked off 2011 including Spin Cycling, Aerobics, Yoga and Boxercise. The Fingal Centre also boasts excellent facilities which make the High Life scheme great value for money.

Help is also at hand for Highland folk, whose New Year resolution is to get fit in 2011. The Highland Council is offering one free month of membership to the popular leisure scheme, High Life, for existing all inclusive members and a friend, who signs up for membership during January.
