Hazardous trees to be felled in Culloden Drive (25/05/11)
A recent professional tree survey in Culloden Drive, Inverness has identified seven beech trees which require to be felled due to a fungal infection, Kretzschmaria.duesta, which is associated with fracture of the main tree trunk. It is therefore necessary for the trees to be felled for the benefit of public safety.
Felling is due to commence next week. There is expected to be limited disruption and members of the public are requested to follow instructions given by the contractor on site.
Culloden Drive is owned and managed by The Highland Council.
