Easter Ross strives to be better connected

Members of the community are invited by The Highland Council to attend a joint Cromarty Firth and Tain and Easter Ross Ward Forum to consider access to broadband in the area and explore what can be done to get improved broadband.

New head teacher appointed

The Highland Council has appointed a new Head Teacher at Resolis Primary School on the Black Isle. She is Ms Jane Bentley who has been the cluster Head Teacher for Marybank and Strathgarve primaries since August 2011.

Wick Harbour Authority to benefit from Axis 4 European Fisheries Funding

The Highland Fisheries Local Action Group (FLAG) has awarded funding of £30,098 to Wick Harbour Authority for the purchase of additional infrastructure to increase the capacity at Wick Marina from 72 to 84 berths.
