Valuation Joint Board:
Register of Members' Interests
The Ethical Standards in Public Life etc (Scotland) Act 2000 introduced a new ethical framework to Scotland. One of the key elements of the Act is the statutory Councillors' Code of Conduct, which aims to reinforce and strengthen public confidence in councillors. Section 4 of that Code sets out categories of interest which councillors must register.
