Chief Executive's Service

As the Head of Service, the Chief Executive’s main role is to manage the day-to-day operation of the Council. His headquarters’ management team includes an Assistant Chief Executive and Heads of Service covering E-Government, Policy and Performance, Legal Services, Committees and Personnel.  He also has three Corporate Managers, a City Manager for Inverness and 16 Ward Managers to oversee the Council’s performance in delivering services to local communities. The annual budget for the Office, which has 420 staff, is £23 million. The Office is also responsible for:-
