BT has been consulting on the removal of 192 payphones from across the Highland area.
Under guidelines published by Ofcom the Independent Regulator, the Local Authority, The Highland Council, has had the responsibility of co-ordinating the response to BT.
The Council has now published its final response (PDF) to BT based upon responses received from individual members of the public, community councils, community groups and statutory organisations.
The Council wishes to thank Highland communities for the significant response that has been made to this important consultation.
