This 1 Day (9:30 to 16:30) course is available to The Highland Council Staff and Elected Members who are required to carry out or prepare PowerPoint Presentations and require more detailed features.
The course aims to introduce staff to more advanced features of PowerPoint. Customising shows and a professional use PowerPoint. The course consists of trainer input, discussion on good practice, individual and class practical exercises and is assessed by on-going class validation with practical exercises lead by the trainer.
Handout material is available on LD's intranet for core and advanced levels which also covers the European Computer Driving Licence syllabi.
Good basic computing, word processing and basic PowerPoint skills are advantageous.
All trainees ought to have read the ICT Acceptable Use Policy.
Trainees ought to have completed the “Display Screen Equipment” and working to complete the “Information Management” e-courses within My Online Learning.
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Recap on basics
- Use Slide Transition and Text Animation
- Insert Image, Video and Sound
- Changing images and creating images
- Work with Master Slides
- Customise Slide Shows
