Highland Community Council Review Stage 3 Consultation

This phase of the consultation is now closed.  Thank you for all your comments and representations.  A final report on the Community Council consultation will be presented to a meeting of the Highland Council in March.

The third phase of the Community Council review invites final comments upon the proposed draft Scheme for the Highland area.

The documentation is based upon a model Scheme published in 2009 by the Scottish Government, COSLA and the Association of Scottish Community Councils. The documents have been considered locally and alterations made only where it was felt necessary to do so to better reflect the Highland situation.

Following the second phase of consultation earlier this year, the documents have been amended to reflect the representations received and the Council is now asking for final comments on the draft Scheme. 

The third phase of consultation also provides further opportunity to provide representations upon boundary issues following the phase two consultation period.
