Highland Community Council Review Stage 2 Consultation - Closed

The second phase of the Community Council review focuses upon a proposed draft Scheme for the Highland area and associated documentation including a standard constitution, standing orders and code of conduct for Community Councillors.

The documentation is based upon a model Scheme published in 2009 by the Scottish Government, COSLA and the Association of Scottish Community Councils. The documents have been considered locally and alterations made only where it was felt necessary to do so to better reflect the Highland situation.

The second phase consultation also provides further opportunity to provide representations upon boundary issues following the phase one consultation period.
