Present: Councillors, Isobel McCallum (Chair), David Alston, Billy Barclay, Craig Fraser, Joan More, Ferintosh Community Council, Moira Greve, Ferintosh Community Council, Hamish Gatt, Knockbain Community Council, Gwyn Phillips, Fortrose and Rosemarkie Community Council, James Cornwell, Fortrose and Rosemarkie Community Council, Libby Brown, Fortrose and Rosemarkie Community Council, Martin Gill, Avoch and Killen Community Council, Donna Haldane, Resolis Community Council.
Apologies: Cromarty Community Council and Killearnan Community Council.
1. Adoption of National Standards of Community Engagement were adopted.

2. Background to Ward Forum
Purpose:
a. Act as forum to raise issues of concern
b. Resolve these issues or refer them appropriately
c. Scrutinise local Council delivery and performance
d. Consultative forum
e. Engage communities to help them make choices
f. Promote and encourage Community Safety
g. Update the Ward Profile /yourcouncil/yourward/ward10/
h. Rationalise the various community consultations
i. Enable Elected Members to reflect local concerns at strategic committees
ACTION: All to note.
Invitees
It was agreed that the Ward Forum membership would be made up of:
- 4 Black Isle Members
- maximum of 2 representatives from the 7 Black Isle Community Councils
- Northern Constabulary Representative
- NHS Representative (where appropriate)
- Youth Representative
It was agreed that as appropriate Highland Council Officials, representatives of the business, voluntary and statutory sectors would be invited to attend for specific subject discussions.
