Agenda
1. Feedback on the last Forum – Ward Manager informed the Forum of the previous action points
2. Community Safety Policies – No Police representative available.
3. A Presentation on Recycling by Andy Hume, Waste Management Officer and James Dunbar, New Start Highland
4. Questions from members of the public;
Q1. Litter concerns at Crown Road embankment and Godsman Brae, who cleans this?
Action: Ward Manager to ask TEC’s to clean this area up at their earliest convenience.
Q2. Leaf clearing in some areas are done, while others are not. Why is this happening? Hilton and Milton areas.
Action: Ward Manager to bring this to TEC’s attention and to advise when they are going to carry out the operation.
Q3. Street cleaning very poor quality. Why can’t the Council treat this more seriously?
Action: Ward Manager to look at this with TEC’s and try to re-address the frequency of this operation in the Millburn area.
Q4. Play equipment requires painting on some of the sites.
Action: Ward Manager to ask that TEC’s can do this work on their maintenance programme.
5. Any Other Business
The Forum suggested that the next Ward Forum should be combined between Wards 15 and 17, and that this Forum would have a theme of Youth Activities.
Action: Ward Manager to discuss with the Members for Ward 15.
6. Date of Next Meeting
This was left at present until Ward Manager speaks with both sets of Members to come up with a date that would suit everybody.
