1. Welcome and introductions
Councillor Ford opened the Forum with 1 minute of silent remembrance for Roddy Stewart (16), a 5th year pupil at Culloden Academy who tragically lost his life at the weekend.
2. Feedback from previous Ward Forum
• List of youth activities – Mags Duncan Stirling advised that the information is still being compiled.
• Pedestrian crossings on Tower Road – Shane Manning, TEC Services advised that the materials have been ordered and contractors instructed. This should be complete by mid March.
• Road repairs on B9039 and B9002 – Ardersier Community Council has raised issues that have been passed to TEC Services.
• Safer Routes to Schools at Cawdor – Councillor Balfour advised funding was in place to conduct survey.
• Bus timetables – Bob Edwards has provided these.
3. Community Safety
Presentation by Chief Inspector Donald Henderson on Northern Constabulary’s policing priorities and Ward priorities.
Questions from the Public included concern about lack of increase in Police resources to complement housing developments
