Highland Council Archaeology Unit is very pleased to announce that the Highland Historic Environment Record (HER) is now available online. The HER contains information about tens of thousands of historic buildings and archaeological sites across the Highland area. The complete HER database, including thousands of linked documents and images is available online and is fully searchable via an interactive map. There is also a range of other resources available and opportunities for users to contribute and submit feedback.
