Inverness Apple Day. 22nd October 2011

1-4pm. The Floral Hall, Bught Park. The Floral Hall will host the first Apple Day ever to be held in Inverness on Saturday the 22nd of October. There will be an apple expert on hand to identify apples, apple games, recepies and apple trees for sale. The event will also look to create an apple map of the orchards and apple trees all over the Highlands.

Inverness and Nairn Biodiversity Forum. 25th October 2011

7-9pm. Inverness, venue TBC. This will give all those involved with Biodiversity in Inverness and Nairn the opportunity to hear and find out about some of the projects underway in the area and also a great opportunity for information excjhneg and networking.

Highland Biological Recording Group. Silver Jubliee meeting. 26th November 2011

10am to 3pm. Great Glen House. This Autumn meting will celebrate 25 years of the HBRG with a sliver theme to the day. there will be a keynote speech and opportunities to share your seasons sightings with those attending. there will be an extended lunch to allow catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.

Highland LBAPs Networking meeting 2012. 3rd March

10am to 4pm. Dingwall, venue TBC. This will take place on Staurday the 3rd of March and is open to anyone who is active in local biodiversity projects and would like to hear what the other LBAPs in Highland are doing and offers a great opportunity to network with members of other LBAP Groups.

Highland Biological Recording Group. Spring Meeting 24th March

10am to 1pm. Strathpeffer, venue TBC. The Spring meeting for the HBRG.

Highland Biodiversity Forum 2012. 14th April

10am to 4pm. Inverness, venue TBC. The theme will be soils and biodiversity and there will be a field trip in the afternoon.
