Scottish Healthy Choices Awards

The Scottish Healthy Choices Award Scheme is now closed.
The Scottish Executive is committed to developing a new national catering award for Scotland, planned for launch in 2006. This means an end to the Scottish Healthy Choices Award as we know it. The Scottish Consumer Council has written to all Award holders regarding these changes. All Awards currently held will be valid for two years from the date of issue and establishments will continue to display their Award certificates during this time.
What was the award?
Caterers were given the award for promoting and providing healthy food choices within a healthy eating environment. The Award Scheme was open to caterers, from sandwich bars to schools, and workplace restaurants to hotels.
