Biennial Reports
Under the previous Flood Prevention and Land Drainage (Scotland) Act 1997 Scottish Local Authorities were required to publish reports, at two-year intervals to summarise the historical and current situation with regard to certain aspects of flood alleviation and to promote a methodology based on action areas for assessing future problems.
Biennial reports will be replaced by the preparation of local Flood Risk Management Plans and interim reports on these plans. For information and time scales please follow the link to the SEPA website. http://www.sepa.org.uk/flooding/flood_risk_management/planning_for_floods.aspx
