This page contains a link to the Scottish Government Building Standards website, where you will find up to date copies of the Building Standards and supporting Technical Handbooks for both domestic and non-domestic work.
There is also a link to a document which gives some guidance on the likely objection points you may receive if your Building Warrant application cannot be approved after an initial full assessment. It is not exhaustive, nor a list of standardised points, but can be used by designers to consider likely information which would be expected to be submitted as part of an application.
Also recently added is a list of answered questions which were asked at or after our event highlinghting changes to building standards which we held in Inverness in February 2011.
