Historic Environment Consultations
The following documents relating to the historic environment are currently under public consultation. The closing dates for comments for both documents is 1st February 2012.
The Highland Historic Environment Strategy aims to define Highland Council's approach to the protection of the historic environment.

Highland Council Standards for Archaeological Work seeks to set practical standards for a consistent approach to the management of the historic environment within the planning process in Highland, and is of particular relevance to historic environment practioners and developers.
Comments on the Standards in general, as well as comments on specific sections of the Standards that represent a particular specialism are welcome.
