Affordable Housing - Supplementary Planning Guidance (revised August 2008)
The delivery of affordable housing in Highland is a priority for the Council. As part of a commitment to ensuring that affordable housing is delivered through planning policy, the Council has carried out a review of the existing Development Plan Policy Guideline on Affordable Housing.
The guidance has been revised to take account of a number of changes to definitions and methods of delivery of affordable housing since the approval of the initial Affordable Housing Development Plan Policy Guidance. The revised policy was approved at the Council’s Planning Environment and Development Committee in August 2008 as updated guidance and inform the ongoing work to prepare the Highland wide Local Development Plan.
