The Highland Council intend to prepare a replacement of the Lochaber Local Plan comprising the Lochaber Area and that part of the south west of the Badenoch and Strathspey Area that lies outwith the Cairngorms National Park.

Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Scoping Report
The Strategic Environmental Assessment Scoping Report for the Lochaber Local Plan has been prepared in accordance with Regulation 17 of the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes (Scotland) Regulations 2004. The purpose of this report is to set out sufficient information on the Lochaber Local Plan to enable the Consultation Authorities to form a view on the consultation periods and the scope and level of detail that will be appropriate for the environmental report.
